The place is best visited in the winter season, from November to April as the snow falls in abundance, enough to beautify the place and also enough to not cause any problem. The trek is a moderately difficult one. The trek is 20 km long and can be achieved in 6 days.

Kanchenjunga Trek

The third highest mountain in the world, sharing the border of two countries, India and Nepal, the Kanchenjunga Trek rests at a soaring height of 28,810 ft. The elevation is clear to hint that this trek is not ideal for beginners. An experienced trekker who wants to add one big achievement in her diary should miss this magnificent place. The proper duration it takes is About 24-25 days, but the trek can be cut short depending upon the stops one takes. Shorter routes can be opted as well which can be of 15 days. March to mid-May and from October to late November are the best seasons to visit the place. The trek is one with one of the most arresting and captivating views, which can not be missed.

Har ki dun Trek

A place whose beauty is untouched and preserved, Har ki Dun is one of the most popular and adventurous treks in the state and country, it is a valley-shaped place that rests at the core of the Govind Ballabh Pant national park, at a height of 3566 mt., which offers scenic distant views to the trekkers, including the magnificent panorama of the Himalayan ranges. It also renders sights of enchanting valleys in the Garhwal region. The place is easy to trek to and is under the reach of everyone and can be covered in a week. 

Chandratal Lake

Popularly known as the lake of the moon, the Chandratal lake is a place synonymous with beauty. The lake is of crescent shape and the water, stilled and tranquil. Everything that a poet imagines. Located in the Spiti valley the place is very famous and adventurous for trekkers. Surrounded by mountains all around, the place is situated at a height of 4,250 mt. The trek is under the approach of Beginners to professionals as it is an easy to moderate trek. Taking from 7-8 days, the place should be best visited from mid-June to mid-October.

Rupin Pass trek

For every trekker who doesn’t want to miss out on the highly elevated regions and their adventures, should add Rubin Pass to the list, which rests at a height of 4650 mts. It is a two-state trek, as it begins at the Dhaula in Uttarakhand and goes till Sangla in Himachal Pradesh. The scenarios change from beautiful to mind-blowing views. And the blue waters of the Rubin that cascade along with it is just so surreal. The trek asks for good strength, stamina, and energy as the trek is moderately difficult.

Valley of flowers trek

A place, divinely crafted by nature herself is The Valley of flowers spread in 87 sq km in the Chamoli district, in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. Seems like Paradise on Earth, it tempts everyone to wander and lose themselves in the beauty of the place. The valley is filled with an exotic and huge range of flowers that exhibits beauty in their purest form, Like, Orchids, Premulas, Daisies, Marigolds, poppies and so many many more. Built in 1982, it is regarded as a National Park and also bears the title of UNESCO World Heritage site, since July 15, 2014. As the flowers have their own time of blooming, the place should be visited in July till the first week of October. 

Pin Bhabha trek

It wouldn’t be a mistake if I say that this trek is the Grandest crossover in our country. India is blessed with some of the most stunning crossovers, But this trek is just the most amazing one. The moment you stand at the top, you get to see different shades of pink floating in the tranquil Pin valley, completely contrasting with the mountains of Spiti which are dark and deserted, and behind you the green Bhaba Valley. The place is very Dramatic, as the scenery here keeps on changing from good to the best. Taking around 9 days, the trek is a difficult one, as it is at a height of 16,105 ft and can be visited between May to September.

Khopra ridge trek

If getting to watch 22 big mountains at just one trek does not sound Adventurous, I don’t know what does. And 2 being amongst the highest mountains in the world. Taking around 9 days to trek, the place is best visited in Oct- Nov, and Mar-May. And the panoramic views one will get to witness here will be locked forever in their minds and souls.

Kashmir great lakes trek

Just hear the word Kashmir, and one is taken into Nature’s best shots at beauty. And trekking in ‘Paradise on earth’ with lakes around, what more do one wish to see. This trek is adventurous and pretty at the same time the trek is a moderately difficult one, stretched for 75 km, which takes about 6 days to complete. The meadows, the lakes, the mountains, the trees, the air, everything is next to heaven here. The best to visit is between July-September. 

Cloud’s end trek

Just the name of this place is so aesthetic, how heavenly would it be in real. 7 km from Mussoorie, the place is filled with oak and deodar forests for 2000 acres. The charming view of clouds with the scent of forests, promises utter peace to one’s mind and soul.
